Confidentiality of information by Visitor

Section 46
(1)
Except for any of the purposes of this Act or for the purpose of any civil or criminal proceedings under this Act, no
Visitor shall disclose any information which has been obtained by him in the course of his duties under this Act.
(2)
A Visitor who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both.
