Section 19A
(1)
No co-operative society or subsidiary of a co-operative society shall open any branch in or outside Malaysia without the prior written approval of the Commission.
(2)
Any co-operative society or officer of the co-operative society who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand ringgit.
