Records to be kept and produced
of Pathology Laboratory Act 2007
The licensee shall keep or caused to be kept records relating to the operation of the licensed pathology laboratory for a period as may be specified by the Director General.
(2)
The Director General may require the licensee to produce the records for inspection.

(3)
A person who fails to keep or refuses to produce the records under subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable—
(a)
in the case of a sole proprietor—
(i)
to a fine not exceeding thirty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to both; and
(ii)
for a continuing offence, to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction; or
(b)
in the case of a body corporate or partnership—
(i)
to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit;
and
(ii)
for a continuing offence, to a fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit for every day or part of a day during which the offence continues after conviction.
