The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 34
the following sections:
“Warrant admissible notwithstanding defect 34a. A search warrant issued under this Act shall be valid and enforceable notwithstanding any defect, mistake or omission in the search warrant or in the application for such warrant and any radioactive material, nuclear material, radiation generator, device, book, document or other thing seized under such warrant shall be admissible in evidence in any proceedings under this Act.
Authority card 34b. (1) There shall be issued to each authorized officer an authority card to be signed by the appropriate authority.
(2)
Whenever such authorized officer exercises any of the powers under this Act, he shall, on demand, produce to the person against whom the power is being exercised the authority card issued to him under subsection (1).”.
