Section 46

The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 36

the following section:

“Presumption 36a.  (1)  When any material is suspected of being radioactive material or nuclear material has been seized and such material is contained in a number of receptacles, it shall be sufficient to analyze samples of the material of an amount as may be determined by the Director General and if such analysis establishes that such samples are all of the same nature and description, it shall be presumed, until the contrary is proved, that the contents of all the receptacles were of the same nature and description as the samples so analyzed.
