Section 12
Council may establish committees
of East Coast Economic Region Development Council Act 2008
The Council may establish such committees as the Council considers necessary or expedient to assist it in the performance of its functions and carrying out of its powers under this Act.
(2)
The Council may elect any of its members to be the chairman of any committee.

The Council may appoint any person to be a member of any committee.
(4)
Membership of a committee may include one or more individuals from the private sector.
(5)
The provisions of the Second Schedule shall apply to a committee.
(6)
The Council may, from time to time, by order published in the
Gazette, amend the Second Schedule relating to a committee.
