Power to enter and examine non-State land
of Electricity Supply Enactment 2024
Whenever it appears to the licensee that it will be necessary for him to exercise the powers conferred upon him by this Enactment in respect of any land, other than State land for the purpose of constructing an installation or part of an installation, the licensee or any person authorized by him may, after giving not less than twenty-four hours notice to the owner, the officer or any other person in charge thereof, if any, enter upon the land, survey and take levels and do any other acts necessary to ascertain the suitability of the land, in so far as the same may be possible without causing damage or disturbance.

Nothing herein contained shall be deemed to authorize any person to cut down or clear away any vegetation or any fence or other erection or to enter into any building or upon any enclosure attached to any building.
