Governments
For the purposes of this Act, the court shall presume that maps, plans or charts purporting to be made by the authority of—
(a)
the Federal Government;
(b)
the Government of any State in Malaysia; or
(c)
the Government of a “State” as defined in section 2 of the
Exclusive Economic Zone Act 1984 and approved by the
Federal Government or the Government of any State in
Malaysia for use, were so made and are accurate.
(2)
For the purpose of paragraph (1)(c), a certificate issued by the
Minister responsible for survey and mapping or the Minister responsible for defence stating that a map, plan or chart has been approved by the Federal Government or the Government of any State, as the case may be, shall, in any legal proceeding, be conclusive proof of the fact so stated.
