to inculcate the spirit of self-reliance among the rural communities;

to help increase agricultural production and accelerate development of agro-

to encourage modern, progressive and commercial farming in in-situ areas;

to promote and develop a pool of skilled native entrepreneurs in the supply of ancillary services to the agriculture sector including processing, marketing and distribution; and

to preserve and increase the overall net worth of the Corporation over a period of time.
