Section 16

If a direction is issued under subsection (1), the limited liability partnership shall comply with the direction within thirty days from the date of the direction or such longer period as the Registrar may allow.

Any limited liability partnership which fails to comply with a direction given under subsection (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit for each day during which the offence continues after conviction.
