Registered office

(2)
A limited liability partnership may change the address of its registered office from time to time by lodging a notice of change with the Registrar in accordance with section 17.
(3)
Notwithstanding subsection (2), until the end of a period of thirty days beginning on the date on which a change of address of a limited liability partnership is registered, a person may validly serve any document on the limited liability partnership at its previous registered office.

A limited liability partnership and its partners who fail to

comply with subsection (1) commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a further fine not exceeding five hundred ringgit for each day during which the offence continues after conviction.
