Section 82
Every owner of rateable property, within the meaning of this Ordinance, which is not excepted under section 73 shall pay –
(a)
such annual rates thereon; and
(b)
such separate rate on any specified class of rateable property or on rateable property in any specified area, as the Authority may, with the approval of the Minister, prescribe by order published in the
Gazette:
Provided nevertheless that the total of such payments shall not exceed thirty per centum of the rateable value appearing in the valuation list or such greater percentage as the Yang di-Pertua Negeri may approve either generally or in respect of any area or areas.
