Section 87

Where any rate remains unpaid after the date on which the same becomes due and payable, interest may be charged and recovered thereon with effect from such date and at such rate not exceeding eight per centum per annum as the Authority may determine and for the purposes of Part XII the word “rate” shall include any interest so due.
