Section 6

Any Malaysian citizen shall be eligible to be appointed as an officer or as a cadet officer, or to be enrolled as a cadet in the

Force:

Provided that a Commonwealth citizen may, notwithstanding that he is not also a Malaysian citizen be appointed to or enrolled in the Force, if the Minister considers such action to be necessary or expedient.
