Section 52
(1)
Every retired police officer shall be a member of the Reserve if he is appointed as a police officer on or after the coming into force of the Act and he is a citizen at the time of his retirement.
(2)
This section shall not apply to any police officer who has been retired on grounds of ill health or physical or other disability.
