Proceedings before Parole Board
If a Parole Board considers that the appearance of a prisoner who is applying for parole is necessary, the Parole Board may serve a notice on such prisoner to appear before the Parole
Board at the time and place specified in the notice.
(2)
The prison officer shall make the necessary arrangements to procure the attendance of the prisoner before the Parole Board.
(3)
If the prisoner is unable to appear before the Parole Board because of illness or attending any court proceedings or any other reasonable grounds, he may submit a written representation to the
Parole Board.
(4)
All proceedings before a Parole Board under this section shall be held in camera and no legal representation on behalf of a prisoner shall be allowed.
