Section 21
(1)
Save as provided in this section a Game Warden may compound any offence under this Act but only the Chief Game Warden may compound an offence under this Act in respect of a totally protected wild animal or a totally protected wild bird.

(2)
Where the Chief Game Warden or a Game Warden compounds an offence pursuant to subsection-
(1)
he shall do so for a sum not more than one half of the fine prescribed for the offence.
