Section 54
(1)
Any person with an infectious disease may be removed or caused to be removed from any railway carriage and from the railway premises by any railway official.
(2)
Such person shall in addition be liable to defray the cost of disinfecting any such carriage or portion thereof.
(3)
Any person in contravention with subsection (1) or (2) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine of not exceeding one thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both.
