(1)
Any person who intends to set up an aquaculture premise shall apply to the
Director for a permit in the prescribed form.
(2)
Upon receipt of the application, the Director or any authorised officer may survey the site specified in the application and if the Director is satisfied, he shall issue a permit.
(3)
The Director may require the applicant to provide any additional information and he may refuse to consider the application until the information is received.

(4)
The Director in issuing a permit may impose such conditions as he may deems fit.
(5)
The applicant shall be required to pay the prescribed deposit before a permit is issued.
