Section 66

The Director or any enforcement officer or public servant authorized by him or any police officer not below the rank of Sergeant or any police officer in charge of a police station or custom officer

(referred to in this Part collectively as an “investigating officer”) may carry out investigation into any offence under this Ordinance, and in carrying out such investigation, the investigating officer may exercise all or any of the special powers in relation to police investigation provided in the Criminal Procedure Code [Act 593].
