Section 73

(1)
The Director or any officer authorized in writing in that behalf by the Director may compound any offence committed under this Ordinance or any rules made hereunder by accepting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed such offence a sum of money not exceeding one half of the maximum amount of the fine provided for the offence committed.
(2)
The manner of compounding the offences shall be prescribed by rules made under section 80.
