Section 29B
—
(1)
Where any article or property seized or detained pursuant to section 29A is of a perishable nature, the General Manager may, by order in writing, direct the article or property to be sold in such manner as he deems fit.
(2)
A proper account of the proceeds of sale derived therefrom shall be kept and held in the custody of the General Manager pending the completion of any prosecution or proceedings in respect of the offence for which the article or property was seized or detained.
