Section 13

The Veterinary Authority may, upon the written application of any person, issue a special permit to the person to slaughter livestock for domestic, ceremonial or religious purpose elsewhere than at a licensed slaughterhouse or Government slaughterhouse; such special permit shall be in Form 4 as prescribed in the Fourth Schedule.

The Veterinary Authority may, upon written application of any person in-charge of a livestock where the livestock cannot be led, driven or transported to a licensed slaughterhouse or Government slaughterhouse, issue a special permit for the livestock to be

slaughtered elsewhere other than the licensed slaughterhouse or

Government slaughterhouse; such special permit shall be in Form 5 as prescribed in the Fifth Schedule.
