Section 4
(1)
No place shall be used as a slaughterhouse except in accordance with a licence issued by the Director.
(2)
The Director may grant a licence to use a place as a slaughterhouse subject to such terms and conditions as he deems fit.
(3)
Every licence issued under these Rules shall –
(a)
expire on the 31st day of December of the year in which it is granted;
(b)
be valid only for the period, place or purpose specified therein;
(c)
not be transferable except with the written consent of the Director; and
(d)
require an annual fee of Ringgit Malaysia one hundred.
