Section 14
To ascertain whether any offence against these Rules has been or is being committed, the Director or any authorised officer may at any time –
(a)
enter, inspect, examine and investigate any slaughterhouse, or any land, build-ing or premises in respect of which he has reasonable cause to suspect is being used for slaughter;
(b)
require the owner to render all necessary assistance or to furnish such informa-tion as may be required;
(c)
collect or remove any sample or evidence from the slaughterhouse; or
(d)
stop, detain, enter or examine any conveyance used for the transportation of any livestock, carcase or animal products.
