Section 16

The Veterinary Authority in exercising the power of entry and investigation under the provisions of these Rules may, without prejudice to the exercise of the power conferred upon him by these Rules, forthwith take such steps as he may consider necessary to close any slaughterhouse if he is satisfied that it contravenes any provision of these Rules.
