of SYARIAH COURT CIVIL PROCEDURE (FEDERAL TERRITORIES) ACT 1998
Section 208
In any Court to which he is appointed, the Registrar in
(a)
adjourn any proceedings;
(b)
fix a date for the trial of any proceedings;
(c)
administer oaths for affidavits and take bonds;
(d)
where security is ordered, determine its sufficiency and require sureties to justify;
(e)
by consent of all parties, order consolidation of any proceedings; and
(f)
carry out any other functions provided under this Act or any order of a Judge.
