Section 83
The Registrar shall, upon giving his approval under section 82, require the applicant to deposit with the Registrar a security which in the opinion of the Registrar is sufficient to—
(a)
reimburse the Registrar for any liability or expense it is likely to incur as a result of the seizure of the infringing goods;
(b)
prevent abuse and to protect the importer; or
(c)
pay such compensation as may be ordered by the Court under this Part.
