Section 13

(1)
No licence may be issued under section 12(1) unless the groundwater abstracted complies with the standard of safe drinking water determined by the health authority or has not been contaminated or unless the licensee undertakes in writing that none of the water abstracted under licence will be used for human consumption.
(2)
The State Water Authority shall revoke or suspend any licence issued under section 12(1), if, at any time during the currency of the period of the licence, the groundwater abstracted for the purpose of human consumption does not comply with the standard of safe drinking water determined by the health authority or has been contaminated.
