(2)

If the Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri is satisfied that any unalienated land within a water catchment area is required by a water supply authority for the protection of the waterworks from contamination or for the conservation of water resources, the Majlis

Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri may order such land to be alienated to the water supply authority: Provided that such alienation shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Land Code [Cap.

(1958 Ed.)].
