Section 43
(1)
A licensed dealer may sell any protected wildlife during open season until the first thirty days of the close season and shall not henceforth sell the protected wildlife unless an open season is subsequently declared for the protected wildlife.
(2)
Any licensed dealer who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or to both.
