Section 44
(1)
A joint secretariat of the Council consisting of officers from the department responsible for youth and the main body of youth societies at the national level shall be responsible in carrying out the functions of the Council.
(2)
The Minister shall appoint a public officer to be the secretary to the joint secretariat who shall be responsible for the overall administration and management of the day to day affairs of the
Council and the joint secretariat.
