Obligation to furnish information on contract with managed care organization
of Pathology Laboratory Act 2007
A licensee who enters into a contract or has an arrangement with a managed care organization shall furnish such information relating to the contract or arrangement to the Director General as may be required by the Director General.
(2)
A licensee who refuses or fails to furnish the information required under subsection (1) or furnishes false or misleading information commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable—
(a)
in the case of a sole proprietor, to a fine not exceeding ten thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year, or to both; or
(b)
in the case of a body corporate or partnership, to a fine not exceeding thirty thousand ringgit.
