(2)

The Complaints Committee shall have the following duties and responsibilities:

(a)

to receive complaints of misconduct from any person to the Commission;

(b)

to keep and maintain a register of all complaints received by the Commission;

(c)

to assess the complaints in accordance with section 23;

(d)

to determine the nature of the misconduct;

(e)

to conduct any preliminary investigation into the complaint under section 25; and

(f)

to inform the complainant of the status of his complaint and the actions taken after the Commission has made its findings.
