Section 48
Attendance before State Fisheries Officer or authorized person
of Fisheries (Adoption) Ordinance, 1994

(1)
The State Fisheries Officer or any authorized person making an investigation for any offence under this Ordinance may by order in writing require the attendance before himself of any person who appears to him to be acquainted with the facts or circumstances of the case, and such person shall attend as so required.
(2)
If any such person refuses to attend as so required, the State
Fisheries Officer or any authorized person may report such refusal to a
Magistrate who may thereupon in his discretion issue a warrant to secure the attendance of such person as required by such order aforesaid.
(3)
Any person attending as required under subsection (1)
shall be entitled to be paid reasonable travelling and subsistence expenses incurred by him and it shall be lawful for the State Fisheries
Officer to pay such expenses.
