Section 58

(1)
No action shall be brought against the State Fisheries
Officer or any authorized person in respect of anything done or omitted to be done by him in good faith in the execution or purported execution of his functions and duties or in the exercise of his powers under this Ordinance.
(2)
No action shall lie against the Government or the State
Fisheries Officer or any authorized person or police officer for any damage caused to any vessel (including its equipment, furniture, appurtenances, stores, cargo and fishing appliance), vehicle, fish, article or thing seized under this Ordinance unless there is prima facie evidence of gross negligence.
