(1)
Where any public road has been vested in an Authority under the provisions of subsection (3) of section 38 or subsection (3) of section 41 there may be paid annually to the
Authority by the Government the following amounts, that is to say-
(a)
such proportion of the cost to the Authority of the construction, reconstruction or maintenance of roads vested in the Authority, as the
Legislative Assembly by resolution may from time to time approve;
(b)
the reimbursement of all or any part of the cost of construction, reconstruction or maintenance of any road for which the Authority is not responsible but which the Authority shall with the prior approval of the
Minister construct, reconstruct or maintain;
(c)

(2)
Where expenditure is incurred by an Authority with the approval of the Minister for the purpose of promoting and maintaining public health services such proportion of the cost thereof as the Legislative Assembly by resolution may determine shall be paid to the
Authority from the general revenue of the State of Sabah.
