Section 21

⎯(1)

The President shall, if he expects to be absent on leave or for other reasons for more than fourteen days, apply for leave from the Yang di-Pertua Negeri who may give such directions as he deems fit.

(2)

Any other member of the Majlis or the Secretary shall apply to the President who may either grant the leave or submit the matter to the Yang di-Pertua Negeri for his directions.
