Section 33

⎯(1)

The proceedings of the Majlis shall be kept secret and no member, officer or servant thereof shall disclose or divulge to any person, other than the Yang di-Pertua Negeri or the Minister or any member of the Majlis, any matter that has arisen at any meeting unless he is expressly authorized to do so by the Majlis:

Provided that this section shall not apply to proceedings and matters which have been submitted to, and have received the approval of, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri.

(2)

Any person who contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment not exceeding one year or to both.

The Majlis may determine its own procedure and practice
