Section 60
When forfeiture to take effect

(1)
The Registrar shall, as soon as practicable after the making of an order of forfeiture under section 58, 59 or 61 with respect to any mining lease or certificate, publish or cause to be published in the Gazette a notification of forfeiture in such form as may be prescribed and any such forfeiture shall take effect upon such publication.
(2)
Where an order of forfeiture as mentioned in subsection (1)
has been made, the holder shall forthwith surrender the mining lease or certificate to the Registrar for cancellation.
(3)
The Registrar shall, as soon as practicable after the notification mentioned in subsection (1) is published, enter or cause to be entered a memorial thereof in the register as provided for under section 102.
