Section 61

the mining land, in respect of which the mining lease or certificate has been granted shall revert to, and vest in, the

Government as State land, freed and discharged from any title or interest subsisting or capable of arising immediately before the forfeiture took effect;

there shall also vest in the Government any building or other structures including roads then existing on the mining land other than properties of the holder of the mining lease or certificate capable of removal; and

any rent due to the Government in respect of the mining land shall remain due and owing and may be recoverable by the Government.
