Section 93

For the purpose of enabling police officers to consider and bring to the notice of the Government all matters affecting their welfare and efficiency, including pay, pensions and conditions of service, other than questions of promotion affecting individuals and of discipline, there may be established one or more associations which shall operate and be administered in accordance with rules. Any such association and any branch thereof shall be entirely independent of and unassociated with any body or person outside the Force, and shall be exempt from any law relating to the registration of societies.
