Section 39
No dealer shall purchase or otherwise acquire any protected wild animal or protected wild bird live or dead or part thereof from any person other than from a licensed hunter or from a Game Warden where any protected wild animal or protected wild bird live or dead or part thereof is sold by a Game Warden pursuant to this Act.
(2)
No taxidermist shall purchase or otherwise acquire any protected wild animal or protected wild bird live or dead or part thereof or an article manufactured from a protected wild animal or a protected wild bird other than from—
(a)
a licensed hunter;
(b)
a licensed dealer; or
(c)
a Game Warden, where any protected wild animal or protected wild bird live or dead or part thereof is sold by a Game Warden pursuant to this Act.
(3)
Any licensed dealer may sell or offer for sale any protected wild animal or protected wild bird during the open season or during the first thirty days of the close season and shall not henceforth sell or offer for sale the protected wild animal or protected wild bird unless an open season is subsequently declared for the protected wild animal or protected wild bird.
