Section 99
Animals are conveyed on the conditions of carriage and at the rates specified in Appendices E and F. The rates quoted are truck rates and apply irrespective of the number of animals loaded into a vehicle up to maximum carrying capacity.

(b)
Animals, except horses, ponies, mules, donkeys, cattle, pigs, goats and sheep may be conveyed singly or in small lots subject to accommodation being available by passenger and mixed trains at parcel rates as provided by rule 70.
(c)
Subject to the availability of accommodation in goods vehicles and at the entire discretion of the Railway
Department, animals may be conveyed at normal goods rates.
(d)
The maximum load for a 4-wheel horse box is two horses, ponies, mules, donkeys, cattle or calves.
(e)
The maximum load for a 4-wheel cattle truck is five large or seven small buffaloes or cattle or twenty pigs, goats or sheep.
