of Statutory Bodies Conduct And Discipline Regulations 1995
Section 4
The following is the code of conduct of employees of statutory body. The breach of any of the provisions of this code by an employee renders him liable to disciplinary action under these Regulations:
(1)
An employee shall at all times and on all occasions give his undivided loyalty and devotion to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sabah, Federal
Government, State Government, the Country and the Statutory Body.
(2)
An employee shall not –
(a)
subordinate his official duty to his private interests;
(b)
conduct himself in such manner as is likely to bring his private interests into conflict with his official duty;
(c)
conduct himself in any manner likely to cause a reasonable suspicion that
–
(i)
he has allowed his private interests to come into conflict with his official duties so as to impair his usefulness as employee;
(ii)
he has used his official position for his advantage;
(d)
conduct himself in such manner as to bring the statutory body into disrepute or to bring discredit thereto;
(e)
lack efficiency or industry;

(f)
be dishonest;
(g)
be irresponsible;
(h)
bring or attempt to bring any form of outside influence or pressure to support or advance any official claim relating to the statutory body whether the claim is his individual, or that of other employees of the statutory body;
(i)
be insubordinate, or conduct himself in any manner which can reasonably be construed as being insubordinate.
