(1)
The Minister may, by notification published in the Gazette, exempt any person or building or land, or any class of persons or type of buildings or lands, from any or all of the provisions of this Ordinance, subject to such terms or conditions as may be specified in the notification.
(2)
Any person who fails to comply with any term or condition under subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, upon conviction, be punished with a fine not exceeding one hundred thousand ringgit or imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years or to both.
