Section 19

Every hot water pressure vessel or tank, not forming part of a self-contained water heating apparatus, shall be of such a size that it will hold not less than twenty-five gallons, shall be constructed of galvanised mild steel or of copper, or of some other material approved by the Water Authority and shall be adequately supported:

Provided that, in the case of a hot water system comprising more than one hot water pressure vessel at different levels, the requirements of this regulation as to size shall apply only to the lowest cylinder or tank.
