Section 21

Every flushing cistern serving a water closet shall be so designed as to give a flush of not less than two gallons nor more than three gallons of water with a permitted variation of plus or minus five per cent, and, subject thereto, shall comply with B.S.S. 1125: 1959 for water closet flushing cisterns.
