Section 70
(1)
Subject to subsection (2), any person who hunts or keeps the female of a totally protected wildlife without a special permit commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding three hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years or to both.
(2)
Any person who commits an offence under subsection (1) and which offence involves wildlife specified in paragraph 68(2)(c), shall, on conviction, be punished with a fine of not less than two hundred thousand ringgit and not more than five hundred thousand ringgit and with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years.
