Section 39
(1)
Every co-operative society shall hold an annual general meeting of members or delegates not later than six months after the close of each financial year or such longer period as may be approved by the Commission.
(2)
Any co-operative society or officer of the co-operative society who fails to comply with subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding two hundred thousand ringgit.
